If you are new to the concept of mineral makeup and have no idea where to begin then this information will help give you a starting point.
The right brush is critical to achieve the flawless face you so desire. We suggest you use natural, cruelty free brushes. We offer Brushes for every application and Brush collections to fit every budget. Before you begin you need to prepare your skin: - Start with a clean, dry face.
- Apply moisturiser and allow your skin to absorb it competely. (5 to 10 minutes)
Foundation Conceal flaws: Tap a small amount of foundation into the mixing palette or lid of your container. Using the Ultimate Concealer Brush, lightly dot area to cover skin problems, blood vessels, discoloration and dark circles until you achieve the coverage you desire. No need to brush it in yet! Apply Foundation: Recommended Brush: Ultimate Buffer, Deluxe Flat Top Put the bristles of your brush against the open sifter jar. Tip the jar upside down and tap once to load your brush. (Remember you only need a small amount). - Using the mixing palette or the lid off the sifter jar, swirl the brush around and tap against the the rim so the excess falls back into the jar.
- In small, gentle yet firm circles, sweep the brush against your clean dry skin (this is called buffing) starting by the ear and working towards the forehead.
- Reload your brush if necessary and do the other side.
- Do the same for the cheeks and chin.
- Repeat the steps above until you get the coverage you desire.
- It takes a few seconds for the minerals to warm up to your skin, wait between layers to avoid over applying.
If you skin is sensitive to the buffing, simply stroke the minerals onto your face in a downward motion. (My personal favorite) Our multi-tasking foundation also blends beautifully with your moisturiser for a creamy, light coverage with just a hint of color. Tinted Moisturizer: - Tap some minerals into the palm of your hand or the mixing palette.
- Add a drop or two of your moisturiser and blend until smooth.
- Apply to your face with either a taklon brush, cosmetic sponge or fingertips.
Blush: Recommended Brush; Flawless Face, Fiber Optic Blush - Tap a small amount of powder into the mixing palette or lid.
- Swirl brush around and tap off excess.
- Apply to the apples of the cheek (smile) working outward and slightly up.
- For a more natural look - do not bring color all the way into your hairline.
- You can use this same multi-tasking color for a hint of color swept across eyelids. Mix with clear lip gloss or lip balm for a beautiful smile.
For a pretty, soft and natural look apply blush under foundation! Try it...it's a trick the Models use!

Lip Color: Recommended Brush; Retractable Lip Brush - Dip your lip brush into your clear lip gloss/lip balm and then into loose powder. Apply the mix to your lips and blend well.
