Beautiful Makeup Starts With Clean Beautiful Skin!
Hi! My name is Carol,
I have tried hundreds of products, from the least expensive to the highest dept. store prices, all promising a variety of wonderful results, and it was always perplexing trying to decide which products to try!
By the process of elimination, it became clear that products containg chemicals were not the best, and could cause unwanted side effects. I also discovered that what went into my body was as important as what I put on the outside. Most of us are not getting nutrients needed to keep our bodies in top working condition, so we must add vitamins, enzymes, minerals and herbs, and not the made-made synthetic ones!
After years of sun exposure, improper cleasing and the natural aging process I asked...
Is there anything out there that is really good for our skin and could help us age gracefully?
I needed to understand skin and the aging process, here's what I've learned.
The first problem we need to address is Free Radicals, what are they and what do they do?
Free Radicals are violent deformed unstable oxygen molecules that rip holes in our delicate cell membranes, destroying our collagen (the elastic molecule that gives our skin the ability to stretch back to it's youthful shape) and the ability of our cells (which are made up mostly of water) to hold moisture.
By the time we reach our 30's they have ripped holes in so many of our cells that we lose the ability to retain moisture and the damage to our collagen is just as serious because it loses it's ability to provide our skin with elasticity.
In every breath we take, we literally manufacture millions of these nasty little devils. They rip into our healthy cells, stealing their electrons, and seriously damaging them. We can not escape them: they are everywhere in the air and in the earth.
The second issue we want to address is what causes our skin to sag.
As we get older, our nerve signals weaken. Without these stimulating signals, our muscles become loose and start to sag. The skin lying over these muscles starts to look tired, droopy and wrinkled.
Our skin is a barrier to the outside elements, and our skin cells are a tough layer of fat molecules, nearly impossible for most substances to penetrate. I hope you learned a-bit about skin and aging. We are currently working on a full line of all natural skin care, we will let you know when we have it ready so keep checking back with us. We also believe what we put in our bodies, taken internally, are absolutely necessary for the skin.
